How do you get a Garage Band material into Auria while preserving the tracks?
Ideally I'd like to be able to paste or import an individual track but, failing that, I'd settle for importing the whole song, provided it doesn't get mixed down onto a single track or two in the process.

Re: Auria and Garage Band
There is only copy to, not from, GB. You have to go through Itunes (I guess there are some Email options also, but I use Itunes):
1. I create the tracks in GB (using mostly smart instruments).
2. I mute all tracks except #1.
3. I set the level of #1 to as high as possible without distorting (no excessive fx, only basic reverb on piano).
4. Export #1 through Itunes to a folder on my PC.
5. Repeat 2-4 for track #2 to #8.
6. I import track #1 to #8 into Auria through Itunes.
7. I record additional tracks through michrophone (my voice).
Example of a GB to Auria project with only voice added with Auria (besides EQ etc.):

I made this background the first weekend of owning the Ipad/GB. No prior experience. Made some editing in the piano roll to get the guitar riff right. And I of course wrote the song myself and did the singing (sorry) myself.

Re: Auria and Garage Band
Actually there is a way to bounce the stuff out of garageband without using internet and/or computer.i recently saw this tip at kvr and i'm really happy about it...,
1.go to your saved song in GB ("my songs")and choose the option to send it via email.
2.go to your mail account and open that mail (stuck in your outbox if not connected to the internet)
3.you will see the attachement and can open it (just push it for 1-2 seconds)in any app that can handle .m4a files (like Multitrack
DAW)
4.audiocopy it from this app to auria
suggestion for rim:make auria support .m4a files so it would be possible to open the file directly without using another
app between
