Regarding cymbal samples for Auria Drumagog

Post by Jeitme » Tue Aug 21, 2012 6:14 pm

Hello, and thanks for the awesome program, documentation and support community, (app is to weak a word for Auria ). It has made me able to express myself creatively like I've never done before, and I can work on projects where and when I want to!

I recently bought the drumagog plugin, and it's great. I read that due to storage space issues and lack of auto hihat tracking you did not bundle hihats and cymbals, which I understand completely, but I am in dire need of some cymbal gogs.

In this post:
http://d4.drumagog.com/phpbb2/viewtopic ... als#p13936

a user was offered to send proof of purchase to receive some samples. Is this offer still standing? And exactly what proof of purchase is needed? I do not seem to have received any receipt for the in app purchase, so I don't know exactly how I am to prove this

Regards
Jeitme.

You'll get a receipt through e-mail from Apple that lists Drumagog as an in-app purchase. This usually takes a day or so.

Thanks,
Rim

Ok

I just want to get this right. Drumagog has no cymbals? No hi hat? This can't be true but I'm not buying Drumagog till I find out.

Thanks

Steve

Yes, for now in Auria this true although you can use your own samples.

Bummer

That's kind of a deal breaker for me. I was just ready to start buying some more plug ins too man!

I guess I'll either wait for something better or wait till it has cymbals or will it ever have cymbals?

That's a very good question....
Will it ever have cymbals?

We decided not to include cymbals into Drumagog for Auria, simply due to the huge download size. However, if you send us proof of purchase (apple receipt), we'll gladly send you the cymbals that come with the full version of Drumagog.

I should note, however that Drumagog for Auria doesn't have Auto HH Tracking, but will load HH samples and allow manual open/close adjustments with the articulation control.

Ah

Ok that's different. I'll be getting the Drumagog plug in probably tomorrow. I'll send you a copy of what you need for the cymbals. Is it you we send this to or a different email address?

I'm looking at Drumagog to. Haven't figured out if it's for me yet tho. Anyway, about how much space would the cymbals use?

Yes, I can confirm. After sending proof of my purchase (I just forwarded my email from Apple) I was given a link. I was then able to download and install the files onto my laptop, and from their sync them to Auria via iTunes and use open/closed hi-hats, rides, crashes, and chinas, etc... very sweet. 8)

It depends...
There are files which are about 130Mo and other 10Mo.
Very sweet, but didn't understand how to make HH opened and closed...if anybody could explain how to do with these gog files?

Great!

I'm gonna buy it tomorrow unless my Darksiders game takes over the day.

Hey Rim. One more question for you? Will or can I get percussion for Drumagog or is it already included? I know I should go read the page about it and will but just in case it's not offered I'd like to know the plans on that.

Thanks very much to Rim and the rest of you kind souls for the info. :)

Please send any requests for the cymbals to info@drumagog.com

There's no percussion included, but you can purchase the percussion extras library here: http://www.drumagog.com/libraries/percussion-extras
