Question on freezing tracks

Post by fusionarts » Tue Aug 21, 2012 3:59 pm

what the reasoning for not having an option to freeze Aux tracks?...i'm sure there is good reason, but if not i would love to have that option down the road...

Aux tracks are affected by multiple tracks, so they're just not good candidates for a freeze function. For example, an aux plugin might have 8 separate tracks sending to it. If you touch any one of those aux sends, the track would need to be re-frozen. It's not impossible, but it probably would be frustrating to use.

I see the reasoning, but it still would be nice to have the option especially with the convolution reverb, and the overloud plug...

Ok, we'll look into this for a possible enhancement down the road.

Thanks,
