Hello to all,
i have an Ipad pro 11 inch. When i use AuV3 instruments , the CPU usage is much more than with my Ipad air 2.
I tested Ravenscroft and Galileo 2. With my Ipad air 2 i have with Galileo 5-6 % CPU. IPAD Pro 11, 12-13 % CPU.
Ravescroft IPAD air 2, 6 %. IPAD PRO 11, 20- 30 % CPU.
IPAD PRO 11 is 2 times to 4 times slower than IPad air 2.
That is not only with Auria Pro. It is with all DAWS.
Has everyone the same with IPAD PRO 11 ?
Ipad Pro 11 must be more faster than Ipad air 2......
I will try to make screenshots...

Re: Ipad Pro 11 very slow ?
Yes there is a bug with the new iPads, most audio applications experience severe glitches and CPU spikes. It seems that the low-power cores are being used for Core Audio rather than the high power cores, so performance is abysmal. Apple are apparently aware of the issue so a fix should be expected in an iOS update.

Hi all,
I was holding off from buying a latest gen iPad Pro 12.9 because of issues reported here and in other threads (to do with crackling and such). Anyone know if the lastest ios release still has issues when using Auria Pro? Thanks
