Hi,
Can I bounce a track in Auria and keep the original sound?
When I bounce a MIDI track, the resultent audio turns into piano!
Please explain....
Many thanks

Can I bounce a track and retain original sound in Auria?
Re: Can I bounce a track and retain original sound in Auria?
When you bounce, you should have the same audio as you did before the bounce. Can you please explain your setup? What MIDI instruments are you using? Any external AU or IAA instruments?

Re: Can I bounce a track and retain original sound in Auria?
Hi,
1. I am using LaunchKey25. I change the transmit channel accordingly.
2. I am using BeatMaker3. MIDI input, mode =single channel, then change receive channel to match transmit channel on LaunchKey25.
3. Auria MIDI channel. Instrument:off. Channel:matches transmit and receive channels in BeatMaker3 and LaunchKey25. Input:all. Output:BeatMaker3.
4. I then copy the resultent MIDI to another MIDI track and press “process”, then “bounce track in place”. I then get the piano sound!
Please help...
Many thanks

I see. Bounce in place will only work for instruments which are inserted as AU or IAA plug-ins (or Auria's built-in instruments). So if you're trying to use Auria to send MIDI to another app (using CoreMIDI), bounce-in-place won't know about that, as the audio generated from another app in that scenario won't be heard by Auria.
