Multi track drums from he looploft
Multi track drums from he looploft
I have Omar Hakim Drums Vol 2 from the looploft as a multitrack drum recording. Is there any other artists or volumes I should look at getting? I really like his setup. 19 tracks to work with my and the sound is really good. Lots of ways to make them sound awesome. I am looking for a classic rock type of groove. Some funk is nice too. Just let me know what artists to check out.

The Simon Phillips stuff is fantastic. I remember hearing Pete Townshend’s solo record, Empty Glass, in high school (1980ish) and needing to know who the drummer was. I’ve been a fan if his playing ever since. Now he’s played drums on my album! Lol. Can’t go wrong with anything from The Loop Loft. I’ve even used the same set of loops on different tunes, a few clicks slower or faster with Auria’s time stretch and nobody’s the wiser.

Good call supanorton. I just purchased the Simon Phillips multitrack pack. The sound samples where awesome sounding. The grooves where great and I love how the snare sounds. I might try to combine different patch’s together. The time stretch of auria will help that out. I will get slot of good use out of these tracks. Thank you for your help.

I really like the cymbal samples have all of the different mics. The sound from the kick mic, snare mic, and so on. I was not expecting that. Really cool. Lots of patterns for the Simon Phillips pack. Awesome sounds and patterns.

And don’t forget you can use Drumagog to replace individual drums. Not that you would need to, but it’s fun to play around with different drum sounds to get a different vibe. Amazing what can be done.
