Usin time stretch features

Post by RJI » Tue Apr 10, 2018 3:35 am

I am remixing a song in Auria.
I originally mixed in pro tools.

The bass track used on the original session was pulled from another version of the song whick was recorded at a faster tempo.
I used elastic auio to slow the track to match the mix tempo.

Now using the same original un adjusted .wav files.
Is there a way to slow the track down in Auria?

Thank you
Robert

Yes, there are a few ways to do this in Auria. The easiest is to use the time stretch handles on the end of the region. To access these handles, zoom in to the end of the region so you can see the trim handle. Then touch the trim handle with one finger and place another finger onto the screen. This will turn the trim handle into a stretch handle. Now just move the region to the new size and it will stretch.

You can also use Auria's warping feature which gives you more capability.

Hi Rim,
Thank you for the quick reply.
After finding the handles, it worked like magic.
Awesome program!
