Having trouble moving midi notes in the piano roll. Need to move a whole note back or forward 32nd note left or right but software seems to not allow it. What am I doing wrong?

First, make sure you are in "draw mode". This is the pencil icon at the top (to the left of the "notes" drop-down). Make sure this icon is highlighted.

Then it's as simple as tapping once where you want a new note to appear. You can also enable or disable the snapping if you want notes to automatically line up to a particular grid (like beats or bars for example).

The note is already there. I just want to move it slightly to the left or right in other cases.

OK, the best way to do this is to zoom in, so you have more resolution to play with when you're moving the note.
