Using warp.

Post by RJI » Fri Mar 09, 2018 7:48 pm

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to use warp for time streching or shrinking?
I have two guitar track recorded at 140 bpm....and would like to use them on a revised version of the song tracked at 157 bpm.

If this is possible could someone give intructions on how to do it.
I am familiar doing this in pro tools with elastic audio.
Soley/ exclusively running Auria currently.

Thank you
Robert

Warping is not the tool you need, what you want is to use Auria's time stretching function. To use this, simply grab the end handle of your audio region with one finger, then add a second finger and you should see the time stretch icon. Then simply drag the region to the new size you need and let go. You can set the snapping grid beforehand to help you set the new size to a particular bar or beat division if you'd like as well.
