Retune tracks from 440Hz to 432Hz

Post by tubewizard » Mon Jan 22, 2018 9:46 am

Hello,
I have recorded tracks where all the instruments were tuned to 440Hz.
Now I tune my Guitar and Bass to 432Hz.

Is there the possibility or a plugin that can retune my tracks from
440Hz to 432Hz?

May be by slowing down the speed and so downtuning the tracks?

Does anyone can help or knows an App that can do this?

Kind Regards

Yes, there's a function in the editor's Process menu called Pitch. If you select a region you can use this function to change the pitch up or down on that region.

Although you can’t actually specify the pitch reference, ie you can’t select “retune track to 432 hz”, or whatever.
But I use 432 tuning as well, and I find that detuning by 32 cents, using the fine control, is about right.

yes I heard 32 cents is the right amount to change from 440 hzto 432hz and indeed worked for me perfectly.
