recording - auto input monitor

Post by mtingle » Fri Sep 15, 2017 5:35 am

Is there a setting in Auria that turns off the 'unprocessed' signal during recording? I thought Auto input monitor would do this but I can still hear the original unprocessed signal and the processed version (I get an echo based on the latency setting).

Or do I need to change something on my audio interface, I'm using a behringer UFX1604 mixer.

In Auria, auto input monitoring mixes some of the record input into a track while its playing back (so that you can play your guitar along with a track without recording it, for example). If you disable this, you won't hear the record input while playing back.

It sounds to me like you might have hardware monitoring enabled in your audio interface. On most interfaces this is disabled using their control panel software (often only accessible with a desktop computer).

ah ok, I'll read the (very sparse) instructions for the UFX1604 and see if there's a reference to hardware monitoring.
