Insert Bars

Hi, is there any way to insert bars midway through a song? It's awkward having to copy and paste as I have to adjust time signitures each time I need to shunt things along. TIA

edit/ripple edit mode is what you want. Make sure you have global set in the settings/edit menu. Check manual for more details.

send a bug report with as much info as possible for Rim to fix it.

could be ipad running out of RAM. clear all non essential apps then try again.

I've sent a bug report, and then tried to repeat the process after rebooting the ipad with the same result.

Then I tried the following
1 - move all material after the insert point back three beats
2 - paste the three beat region into the space created
3 - the result was that ripple mode worked as expected this time, so that after the paste operation, I still had the three beat void, with the pasted region before it. That being said the tempo track doesn't seem to have been modified by the ripple edit.

hopefully someone can make use of this info.
