Export midi file question

Post by cooper » Sat Dec 03, 2016 7:23 am

Hi
In my midi settings, midi export type is set to 1
But when I export my song as a midi file, the file cannot be played in other apps.
If for example I try to play it in the Sweet Midi app, it says "Failed to load file, the file is too long"
If I open it in the Cubasis app or in Logic on my mac, I can see the tracks and the notes, but it is all messed up and not at all like the song in Auria Pro.

It is a short song, only about 2.5 minutes long and tempo 90
My tracks consists of multiple regions which are not joined as there seem to be a bug when joining midi regions. Notes get stretched through the entire song.

I'm working on an iPad Pro 12.9" and IOS 10.1.1

Anyone else having this issue when exporting midi file and maybe a solution?

Ok, I tried to change all instruments on the tracks to Lyra instruments, export midi file, create new project and import the midi file.
The sequence of the tracks are all messed up, so I think there must be a bug in export midi file or I am doing something wrong?
Anyone having success exporting midi file from Auria Pro?

Best regards
Cooper

Hi guys!

Does midi export really works?

I have stripped my entire project just to keep the midi track but in vain, I still get nothing or just some random clips with no info in it.
I chose type 1 or 0, no luck
I joined the clips together - no luck

don't get it, any help?

thanks

EDIT:
I added my question in the bug section here: http://www.wavemachinelabs.com/forum/vi ... 20&t=14908

I've been having problems with midi export as well. I'm exporting a bass sequence that's over 100 bars long. The export is only 1 bar.
