Piano Roll Editor Problems

Post by steve_da_bass » Tue Nov 08, 2016 5:13 pm

Hey Everyone,

I'm having trouble with editing midi on the piano roll.

Basically, I can add and delete notes, but otherwise can't edit them. I can select them ok, but they don't move. Hopefully someone can point me in the direction to resolve this.

I'm using an iPad Air 32GB with iOS 10.1.1 and the latest version of Auria

Make sure the edit mode is enabled (the pencil icon at the top).

Hi Rim,

thanks for speedy response, yeh, I'd tried it both enabled and disabled

Make sure you're working with a suitable grid: if you are doing a lot of zooming but leave your grid set to "Bars", you won't be able to move anything in the piano roll or, if something moves, it will vanish from the vision!

Thanks for the advice, I appear to have resolved the issue now. My stumpy fingers weren't being precise enough (and I don't think I was zoomed in close enought either). Anyway, all's good
