I'm new to Auria and thinking about picking up the Drumagog plugin. More than improving the actual sound of the drums, I'm hoping to improve on some minor timing issues. Can this plugin make drum tracks that are OK, but not great sound tighter?
I'm recording with a Roland UA-22 Duo-Capture EX, with one mic inside the kick drum and an overhead.
Timing fix for drum tracks
Re: Timing fix for drum tracks
No, Drumagog is a replacer, so it faithfully reproduced the same timing you give it

What about the Auto Align 2.0 feature?
Re: Timing fix for drum tracks
The Auto Align feature aligns the original drum's transients with the replaced drums transients, so they sound in phase. The whole concept behind Drumagog is to output drums that are exactly the same timing as the original. it's not for fixing timing.

To fix the timing, you would have to either cut/chop (split) up the track, and move the sliced region parts around.
... or use Auria Pro's advanced 'Warping' feature.
Once you get the hang of it it does what your looking for..
