Using Auria in a live pub situation.

Has anybody really tried and tested this with good results. Would love to try it but would be mortified if it crashed or was unusable on the night!

I have run guitar and vocal using Auria as a live show mixer and it worked very
well through an Apogee One- it wasn't a pub but it was a pretty rowdy art
gallery opening. I went light on effects as I recall I used a bit of psp pianoverb and
the channel strip eqs and set latency low running directly from the interface
into small powered mackies closed all apps turned off wifi disabled auto lock
and the sound was excellent for about 45 min when everything stopped because
I had neglected to push the apogee power connecter fully in and its batteries
ran out. So I plugged it in everything came back up but the sound had radically
changed took me a challenging moment to figure out the interface had changed
settings to its internal mic apparently a default when the batteries ran out!
So aside from all that it worked great your success might be tempered by
how many channels you are mixing which effects etc but I believe Auria
is pretty reliable these days
I also had packed along a small backup analogue mixer!
Good luck at the pub and best cheer
jp

Thanks for that. I want to try it, but with a whole 4 piece band. Ideally I want to be able to record a gig, using video from my GoPro. Then mix it in iMovie or similar for our YouTube channel.

I have used Auria to record my trio, eight channels total, and shot simultaneous video and it all worked great!

We use it as a demo reel to get gigs :D
