I froze a track of MIDI and un-froze it. After that, I noticed the level meter remains zero (no sound) on the track.
Something like the MIDI data are shown on the track. But it does not work as a MIDI track anymore. I cannot select an musical instrument on the track anymore. And, the track indicates “Audio”, not “MIDI”.
I do not remember exactly in what stage this started happening. I noticed anyhow after the un-freezing action.
<Questions>
1. How was this happen? Is there any way to avoid this kind of annoyance?.
2. Is there any way to restore it, i.e. to make the track back to MIDI?

Re: MIDI freeze action made the track silent
This is a bug that's been fixed in v2.03, which should be available soon.

Re: MIDI freeze action made the track silent
Happened to me again today... Freezing tracks causes Auria to be silent. I can see meters but no sound yet. Reboot didn't help. Air/iOs8
Re: MIDI freeze action made the track silent
This sounds like a different problem. The problem the OP was talking about had to do with Auria turning a MIDI track into an audio track by mistake after freezing (you'll see "Audio" in the track header). This has already been fixed a while ago. What you're describing sounds like a different issue.
Can you reproduce this on a new project? If so, let me know exactly what to do, so I can duplicate it here.
Thanks,
Rim

Re: MIDI freeze action made the track silent
Hi Rim, I am happy I can't reproduce that. It happened a few times. Maybe other action caused it like plugging headphones or CCK/ iTrack...
