Pitch Shifting in Auria Pro?

The Pitch function under the Process tab does not seem to work. Whenever I attempt to pitch shift an audio track (up, down, or no change), it turns the track to silence. I have tried this on multiple tracks. I can't seem to find any documentation on pitch shifting in the manual. It seems like it should be fairly straight forward.

1. Select the section of the audio that I want to pitch shift.

2. Press Process

3. Press Pitch

4. Select Pitch and Formant. Lock Formant = Yes, Type = ElastPro

5. Hit OK

6. Audio track processes and ends up with flat, silence.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug?

Hello- try making the section of audio you want to pitch shift a separate region then select and
process- I just tried and that worked for me. Pretty cool I guess I just now found out Auria
Pro could do that!

Thank you for the help. I am trying to use pitch shift on a region of an audio track.

Is the region that you pitched shifted,

Audio or Midi?

Stereo or Mono?

The track I tried it on is an audio, stereo. I wonder if it being sterio is the issue.

Split the stereo region into mono regions....Still flat lines the track when I attempt to do pitch shifting....

Anybody have any other ideas?

Is the original audio file an AIF or a WAV file? I just tried it here with a standard WAV file, and it worked fine. Maybe there's a bug related to AIF files?

It's an AIF file.

If I mixdown to a WAV file will pitch shifting work?

I mixed down the AIF track to a WAV track and now pitch shifting seems to be working.
