Accessing Midi Files

Post by Cpu Red » Thu Dec 10, 2015 6:59 pm

How can i access or export midi files from Auria Pro without using a pc? When i exported a midi file nothing happened, although i am assuming it stuck the files into the itunes shared folder? I would like to be able to utilize Open In or Audioshare or Dropbox to export my midi files to different ipad apps without using a computer. I tried saving my project to dropbox to access them from there but the midi files seem to be hidden. Is this at all possible?

Currently, when Auria exports a MIDI file it adds it to the Documents folder (you can see it when you go to Import File along with all the other audio an MIDI files). There's no way to send it to another app without using a computer, but that's a good idea for a future update.

Yes, please enable import/export of midi files by email/Open In.

Adding another vote for the MIDI export/Open In feature. I'd love to directly export all my MIDIs to AudioShare right after recording, to keep everything well organized.

P.S. Thank you for this brilliant app. It's truly wonderful!

This is a very old thread. Auria has been exporting MIDI files for a while now... Just select the MIDI region and go to the Share menu and select Export to Other App, This allows you to send the MIDI region to another app or to email it.
