AURIA 2.01
AURIA 2.01
Looks like Apple has had a busy day. They got Auria 2.01 pushed out after pushing out all their iDevice OS updates.
Re: AURIA 2.01
We asked for an expedited review, and they granted it, that's why it was fast

...and we are all extremely appreciative of your drive and efforts to make this app the best it can be. BTW, I admire your patience. It is fairly obvious that some of us have not cracked open the manual but you still take the time to personally spoon feed us. Your support is unmatched...I frankly don't see how you do it but it is greatly appreciated!!!Rim wrote:We asked for an expedited review, and they granted it, that's why it was fast

Re: AURIA 2.01
Thank you soooo much! The crash on record enable problem is SOLVED! I'm so relieved! What a great job you're doing Rim!
Re: AURIA 2.01
Where might I find the 2.01 release notes? Thanks
Re: AURIA 2.01
Amazing... That's the kind of person i would like to work with. Talented and dedicated.
Re: AURIA 2.01
I forgot to add a few more items at the end of the notes last night, so here's the revised list:
- Fixed various crashes found in 2.00
- Fixed issue with FabFilter synths not being installed after upgrade (only fixed for new upgrades)
- Fixed issue with AudioPaste when choosing a MIDI track
- Fixed issue with using an IAA in an AUX send which could corrupt project
- Auto Cleanup moved to a manual button
- ADDED: Direct Outputs feature
- ADDED: VelAUcity tracking feature on Lyra pads (not available on Air 2)
- ADDED: New draw mode in piano roll: repeat draw mode.
- ADDED: New Lyra sample library available for purchase from MoReVoX - Drive Monster Drums

That's a shame - what's the issue with the Air 2?Rim wrote: - ADDED: VelAUcity tracking feature on Lyra pads (not available on Air 2)
Re: AURIA 2.01
I know... it's really frustrating, but I has to exclude it. For some reason, the Air 2 has an incredible about of latency (90ms or more) when using the built-in mic. Other iPads don't have this issue. So VelAUcity was totally useless and produced no sound.

Re: AURIA 2.01
Sorry, I can't find the - Auto Cleanup. Not sure what manual button means. And does Auto Cleanup actually work now? Deleted regions still have files in the folder last time I checked.
Thanks
Edit: I think I've found it — it's labeled Clean Up Project. Is that correct?

Re: AURIA 2.01
Yes, that's right, there's no more automatic clean up. I made this manual and put up a warning, since it's possible to loose audio files if you go back to a newer snapshot after cleaning up an older snapshot. Users that weren't aware that this could happen lost audio files when this happened automatically.

Re: AURIA 2.01
Hey, Rim!
Is there a chance that positional velocity sensivity for the drum pads - in the style of DrumPerfect or Superior Drummer - makes it to the next update? VelAUcity is very cool and realistic, but it relies heavily on a silent record environment, which is a not always a possibility. I suppose it would not be difficult to implement positional velocity for the pads, since you already done that for the keys.
All the best!
