Cannot play track thru Alesis io dock 2

I just brought the Alesis io dock 2 and once the power switch is turned on the io dock, the auria play button will not work. The track just stops where it is. the transport rewind will rewind the track and it plays fine when the io dock is powered off... just no headphone or main outputs will work. Any solution available?

Hi Skipneuman,
Are you turning the i/o dock on in the middle of a session or while already having Auria open? ("The track just stops where it is")
Can you try to first close all of your open apps (double click the iPad home button and swipe up on all of the thumbnails)
Then turn on the i/o dock and open Auria.
Does this make any difference?

thanks for the ideas
I did things in that order and the track will not play.
It made no difference
I can play from itunes thru the dock fine.
I additionally tried the combinations of turn one on first then the other etc
No luck so far....
