Anyone using the Zoom UAC 2 or UAC 8? I'm currently using an Apogee Duet with great success, and contemplated getting a Quartet, but the guy I deal with in Pro Audio at my local music store gave the Zoom products high praise. Obviously, having 8 inputs would be a game changer. Comments?
Thanks!
Phil
Zoom UAC 8?
Re: Zoom UAC 8?
The UAC seems to be fine and sounds really good.
Auria works with it in multichannel mode. 8(or18)in/2out
My only question is the phisical rigidity of the mic pre input.
The xlr input is not screwed(seems from outside) to the front panel. Some pro xlr need bigger force to plug in properly.
The UAC8 motherboard must handle the force by connecting and that's why advice you to be careful.
The XLR inputs must be rock solid.
Zoom is pro now.

Re: Zoom UAC 8?
This is fantastic news... Double the pre's, half the price.
