Deleting mixdown files

I started looking at how some of this works. I did an import of a file of Dropbox. In the import dialogue, I found a bunch of mixdown files and aif files from projects long gone. Who aren't these files gone, removed with delete project? Need some better file management here. This is related of course to the other post, about import files. Either there needs to be a way to clean them up easily, or they should go with the project.

Also, what is the point of local mixdown? I always send to Dropbox or roundabout. I don't know how to get at local mixdown.
