Can I use Auria with iPad air and 1st Gen Alesis io dock?

Hi

I would appreciate anyone's advice here.

I used Auria on my iPad 3 with an alesis io dock 1st generation and didn't have any problems but I found I needed more power.

I recently purchased an iPad air (1) and also got a genuine Apple converter to plug it into alesis but Auria is not recognising it!

I can't understand what might be the issue since garage band seems to be working on the same setup so audio channels seem to be there....

Would any one have any ideas?

I have the first Alesis dock and the Air 1. I will give it a try this weekend.
