Storage solutions for ipad with auria?

I have an iPad with 32GB storage which is soon going to be used up. iTunes and Dropbox are a bit slow and a bit of a pain.
Does anyone have any other ways of storing files or tracks from Auria?
I was thinking of the Maxell Airstash and storing on SD cards, anyone know if this would work?

Currently DropBox is the only supported filetransfer protocol, but iFunBox for your PC or Mac can manage files in Auria's folders. This sounds like the best way to back-up projects.

Thanks Marty! :) I'll give ifunbox a try though I was hoping for a more portable solution for file backup rather than having to hook up to a laptop all the time if anyone has any more ideas?
