External MIDI control surface for Auria

For those of us not in love with touch screens, but love everything else about Auria, is there a piece of outboard gear to the rescue?
Something to combine let's say a Mackie Control universal pro with Apogee Quartet, and maybe housed in a 76 pro key bed?
All I want is to be able to run Auria (both tracking and mixing) in perfect synch with hardware midi sequencer, and synths.
Whether it be SMPTE, Midi Clock, MTC, or whatever else.
Touch screen is surely fine when you want show off in front of your drummer's girlfriend, or when you are on a plane, or on the backseat of a Harley (or even the driver's seat of a Mercedes F 015) to work on stuff you previously recorded, but I just have to lay my fingers on real sliders, tweak real knobs, and hear the transport control click when I hit ZRTN.
Any suggestions, anyone, please?
