iFunbox

Post by Lester Ballard » Sun Jan 25, 2015 6:04 am

Hi Everyone,

I've seen iFunbox mentioned loads around here, and I was just wondering what the benefit of that over, say, just using Itunes to explore the appropriate folders?

Thanks

The benefit is that you CAN actually explore those folders

(iTunes doesn't allow you to explore anything inside Apps or App containers, at least not last time I checked and in the version I have)

Ah right so whereas you can see the folders in iTunes, you cant explore them.

So I should download ifunbox then?

I have a vague recollection that iTunes can't copy whole folders of stuff either (whereas iFunBox can). iFunBox is free so why not just take it for a spin and see what you think? :)

I have used iFunbox for quite a while now to transfer and back up files and projects. It worked great... up until about a week ago when suddenly it won't recognize my iPad 2. All I get is the 'no device connected' message in iFunbox even though the iPad is connected and recognized by iTunes. Both iFunbox and iTunes are up to date.

Anyone get any ideas? I didn't find much on the iFunbox website.
