Hi everyone ,
This is my first post on this forum although reading this forum initially convinced me to abandon pro tools and plunge into Auria despite certain warnings about the iPad 2 .
And while I really like Auria ,I'm struggling with some issues especially latency ,audiobus and jamup pro
I,ve got an apogee duet for iPad with ios8 and so just recording through that is fantastic sound and no latency due to the hardware ,but when I try and use jamup pro thru audiobus the latency becomes horrendous ,tracks don't record anymore and some tracks even get named audiobus!
What I want is to be able to record with zero latency whilst using and hearing the effects of jamup pro.I mean I know you can record without effects but it takes away from the vibe for me anyway
Also I,m not really sure what I'm doing with audiobus
Thanks guys
Dave
Latency problems and more
Re: Latency problems and more
I get quite bad latency with audio bus using guitar
Have you tried jam up as an IAA in Auria is the latency still bad
personally don't like jam up or bias
I use Aurias overload IAP but that's just my taste

I use Amplitube through Audiobus into Auria. While I have not done a lot with it, what I have done has worked very well. I think there is a free version you can try.
It doesn't seem to be the favourite of folks who play a lot of electric guitar, but it works for me.
