2014 App of The Year **Auria**

Post by Anthony Alves » Wed Dec 31, 2014 9:15 am

Join me in thanking Rim for the most oustanding Recording/Mastering app for the iPad. Your app still holds No.1 in my list of favs and still promises some great things to come making it even more exciting. I have now begun to incorporate Auria's sound into all my tracks. A pro app that took me 2yrs to master every plugin but worth every minute. Thanks Rim for all the fun. Cheers to you and your team.

Here, here! A toast from me as well. Auria has turned out to be the app that has made me learn the most about recording, EQing, mixing and so on. May the future bring Rim and co. their deserved success and lots of great updates for us!

I'll second that. No matter what other apps I get, Auria is my DAW. In fact, as someone who gave the whole desktop DAW thing a pass, it's my only DAW, and the only one I need :)

I really don't care about Midi integration, as I usually record mostly guitars, bass and vocals live. Auria is the only reason I'm making music on iPad. IMO, no other iOs DAW comes even close. I used to record my stuff once or twice in a week with my Mac and it somehow always had been a hassle. It's just so easy and fun now... I love everything about the plugins, UI, design and functionality. Many many thanks to Rim...

I agree with Maccup - I wouldn't be recording music if it weren't for Auria making it fun AND good quality.

I've had a wretched six months, so no recording, but know that as I pick up my iPad and iTrack solo once more, I don't need to slave over a manual learning a million things before I can hit 'record'. Cheers muchly, Rim. Keep on making music, the rest of you!

I'm getting close to making the complete switch to my iPad for music making, and Auria and the FabFilters make that possible. Health issues make it difficult for me to spend long hours at the desktop with a mouse, so I'm thrilled that programs like Auria and Audiobus are maturing so quickly! (Would love to see the same with IAA.)

The final mixing and recording for my 2nd "CD" are happening in Auria: I actually prefer mixing/editing in Auria to anything I use on the desktop, and hopefully in the coming year we'll see similar gains in the process of recording, as both the tools mature and I continue to wrap my mind around the idiosyncrasies of mobile recording. ;)

Thanks Rim, I'm excited to see what 2015 brings as well!

Auria got me back into home music , i wasn't that big into it before as it were always so much hassle on a PC
But I can Defo work with this app as it's designed by a normal human being not a human being computer
Keep up the good work 8)

Yes indeed, thanks Rim and all the team. Auria is my most trusted app and something I use everyday in various combinations. It really did open my eyes (and ears). Here's to whatever the future brings.
