The main two locators

Sorry maybe a basic question for some

But you know the two main locators what you set for say a loop or something they have a blue band

Is there a way to select all regions inside them two locators say to copy and paste etc
It would save loads of time and be so easy to do

The double tap method seems to be hit and miss sometimes for me personally

Is this already possible if so please tell me how
