Focus rite 2i4..iPad? How?

How do I connect guitar to focus rite to 2i4 and to th iPad and what connections do I need?

Connecting a Focusrite 2i4 is straightforward. Simply connect the 2i4 to a powered usb hub. Connect the powered usb hub to an Apple Connection Kit which is a USB to Lightning adapter. Use only Apple cables as there are problems with aftermarket adapters. Connect your guitar to an input on the 2i4 and raise the gain knob until you see the Halo glow green, avoid the yellow especially the red as digital recording does not require the signal to be too hot as in analog recording. In Auria select the input in the INPUT MATRIX. You will see 2 available inputs representing the 2 inputs of the 2i4. You should now see the level meter on the track you are recording on to in Auria.
