Auria and alesis io dock II/ stereo out and click track?

Post by Ignaki52 » Mon Aug 04, 2014 12:13 pm

Hi, I'm thinking seriously on purchasing Auria for my brand new iPad (4th gen). I want to know if there is any chance of setting two independent outputs while the ipad is plugged to the alesis io dock 2. On one side the stereo out, and on the other side the click track for the drummer. Is this possible? Maybe splitting the stereo, panning all the audio tracks left and the click track right, or using the separate headphone output of the dock.

Thank you very much!!
Iñaki

Did you buy it? I thinking of purchasing one. You should be able to set the outputs to sub groups and route via the output matrix in auria.

You should be able to render your song so it is set up that way. Play the file live with the left and right to house. Make sure you explain to soundperson that they need to be on separate channels so the click can be sent to certain stage monitors.

Alternatively:
I have the Akai EIE (redface) and it has 4 physical outs as well as 4 channel inserts.
Marty Schulte [I'm a drummer. So, there's that.]
iPad AIR(128), Akai EIE, Akai EWI USB, illudium q-36 explosive space modulator
Head First Audio (live sound for Southern Oregon, USA)
