Rim what are the options of having an APOLLO for iPad?

Post by Guilleonline » Sat Jan 25, 2014 5:22 pm

In other words...I am going to write (and beg) to universal audio about doing an Apollo unit much like the one they unveiled at namm2014 the TWIN to work with the iPad. But before I do that....is that a redicilous thing to ask for? Is it doable you think?!?! I've always thought that as long as you can imagine something it can be done one way or another, but from your point of view is it concievable? It would be great to have a unit like thst running all the dsp and Auria running much more fluently.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

Not impossible, but probably not likely either. It would require all the plugin developers to make iOS versions of their GUIs.

Ooohhh didn't think of that :(. I saw the new focusrite iPad interface and in the cheek they had Auria running. Assuming you got to try that new interface what were your thoughts on it? If somebody got a preview of it it was probably you ;)

They haven't sent us one yet (they don't have stock yet), but as soon as they do, we'll check it out and post our impressions.
