The iPad Upgrade Game

Post by Tarekith » Wed Jan 22, 2014 11:35 am

A lot of iOS musicians hate getting stuck on older devices with the rate Apple releases them. If you play the game right however, it's actually cheaper to get a new iPad every year than to wait. Read how:

Tarekith,
When you upgrade to the latest Ipad how do you install the apps you purchased for your old Ipad?

Had a listen to your tracks, very nice indeed and they sound very professionally made. Did you use the Ipad to record/mix and master your music?

Hey Blake. This may help with the upgrade portion of your question.

The apps you buy are tied to your iTunes account, not your device. So it's as simple as redownloading them from the app store for free or transferring from iTunes.

I've been on an iPad music making kit lately, so the last 6-8 tracks on my site were done on the iPad. The ones before that could be anything though, from all hardware to Ableton Live. Thanks for checking out the tracks!
