Midi controller pad

Post by rocdok » Thu Dec 26, 2013 6:11 pm

Sorry, I can't find info on this subject after a few hours of looking. I wanted to buy something like an akai MPD 26 just to control drum studio or the like and want to know if anyone is using it for this purpose ( does it work) or if there is something else I should buy. I'm just doing rock/pop and am not concerned yet about anything fancier- simple = better for me. Thx.

No reason why it shouldn't... I used an MPD32 via the camera connection kit and it worked just fine.

Ciao,

Simon

I don't have the unit any longer, but my recollection is that the pads were very good for both the touch and sensitivity. You can also do quite a lot of software adjustments for those and many more parameters.

Cheers,
Simon
