Record button disappeared inexplicably..

Post by Bytebrain » Wed Dec 25, 2013 4:12 am

Hi all, and merry Christmas.

I'm new to this forum, and to Auria, as I've only just bought the app last week.

I was making my first project in Auria, all analog instruments using the Alesis IO Dock.
Everything was going fine, until suddenly the Arm Recording button disappeared from Track view.

I have no idea why, or if I did something to cause this.
Fortunately the Arm Recording button is still visible in Mixer view, so I can complete my project, but it's very strange.

Starting a new project, the button appear again, but it's still gone from my current project upon reloading.

If anyone can resolve this issue for me, I would be much grateful.

This is how it ought to look in Track view:

But the button is gone here:

Hi, if you stretch the tracks vertically it will come back 8)
It would be nice to arm a track tho in the minimum position as well , maybe it will be possible in the future

@jus & Rim

Thank you so much!
I thought I'd already tried that, but apparently not far enough...

Everything is cool now.
That was really swift responses, I thought I'd have to wait a good while before seeing any replies here, it being Christmas and all. :D

I succeeded in making my first preliminary mix, there's still a lot of adjustments and elements missing id like to get in there, but it sounds pretty good.
I'm not really that experienced with recording music, I'm still pretty confused in regards to how to use compression, EQ and Limiter etc., even after watching multiple videos and reading 'till I'm blue in the face about this, still, I'm pretty satisfied with the results so far.

I might try to share the number here to get some input from the members here, if I dare.. :)
