Recording problem w/overloud in auria

Post by vejichan » Mon Dec 02, 2013 12:36 pm

I'm having a problem recording overloud in auria.
I have overloud and convolution reverb with cab impulses loaded. I'm using
ampkit link and I have the volume low. When I record and playback my recording only overloud gets recorded not the convolution reverb w/cab impulses. So how can i get overloud w/convolution+impulses to stay recorded on the track?

There's no way to record the convolution reverb, as it gets disabled automatically during recording. Usually, effects aren't recorded. Is there a reason why you'd want to record your effects instead of using them during playback?

ok this is what i'm doing.

I'm loading up overloud w/out cab simulation in the first slot
second slot i'm loading up convolution reverb with a cab impulse

and i hit record and when i playback the recording the convolution reverb drops out .. so what i get is a recorded overloud w/out cab sim... how can i get a recorded overloud w/o cab sim + convolution reverb with cab impulse

Normally, it's done like this:

1. Record your guitar onto a track without any effects. If you have any effects, remove them from the slots.
2. After you're finished recording, don't forget to disable the record enable button above the track
3. Insert your effects (convolution reverb, overloud, etc) onto that track
4. Press play.

Now you should hear your track with effects on it. The benefit to this method is that you record your guitar clean, so you can add effects afterwards. It's hard to take away effects once they're recorded.
