That makes sense. I suppose an IAP would make it more messy and complicated. To be honest, I hate opening up separate apps and connecting them together just to create a song (MIDI sequencer, virtual synths, Audiobus, and Auria). I am holding out for Auria (and Cubasis) to include all these features. Just like Geronimo, I would pay more to have it all together as one app. Cubasis already has the MIDI sequencing and one virtual synth (Micrologue) but it totally sucks because you can't do anything more than note on/off messages so far.
No automation of the synth attributes?

I don't blame Sugar Bytes for charging for it, think the price is fair and I'll likely buy it the day it lands but this isn't actually a sandboxing issue. Retronyms and iMini have shown there is a way to get around it - include the code in the app and if the standalone app is on the device, load it within tabletop for free.

Looking forward to getting Turnado, I nearly bought it the other day, but I went for the PSP Microwarmer instead. I'm glad I waited now, I'm sure I'll get much more use out of it as a plugin, rather than piddling about with Audiobus.

To be honest thats how they should implement it, Retronyms did it right in the way they implement iMini and iMPC.

The More the better 8)
How would you utilize it without midi sequencing?
Tbh the bits I play on Sunrizer are so basic I just record them

Yeah can do with midi in Auria sometimes but just going to wait for the midi release whenever that'll b 8)

Some news about Turnado: We decided to pull it from 1.12, and include it into 1.13 instead. The reason for this is because we changed the way it's going to be purchased. To accommodate users who already own the Turnado app, Auria will automatically detect if the app version is installed on your iPad, then enable the plugin version within Auria. The Auria store will still have Turnado available for purchase, but it will link to the App Store instead of completing the purchase within Auria.

In other words:

- For owners of the Turnado app: the Auria plugin version will be free, and will appear in the plugin list automatically

- For users who don't already own the Turnado app: You'll be directed to the App Store, where you can purchase the Turnado app. Having this app present on your iPad will automatically enable the plugin version within Auria.

Rim does that mean that 1.12 was pulled and replaced with 1.13 or 1.12 is a go and would quickly be replaced with 1.13 to fix this issue.

1.12 did not get pulled. It's still being reviewed by Apple and will get released as soon as they are finished reviewing it. The only thing we pulled is the Turnado plugin from the 1.12 store. 1.13 will get submitted soon after 1.12 goes live.

Don't suppose you're in talks with Sampletank or Sunrizer by any chance

Auria doesn't support synths or virtual instruments - only audio plugins, as it doesn't have any midi recording or playback capability. When we release the midi version, we'll definitely be talking with all the synth developers.
