Without actually eqing the original signal. Is this kind of routing possible via the busses yet?

How do i do this? EQing compressor input only
Re: How do i do this? EQing compressor input only
So it's not possible then, yet...
Re: How do i do this? EQing compressor input only
If you have the Pro-C compressor, which includes a sidechain input, you could do this currently by duplicating the track in question. Here's an example:
1. Duplicate the track
2. Insert Pro C on track 1 (the original track)
3. Assign track 1's sidechain input to track 2 (the duplicate)
4. Enable external sidechain in Pro C and turn on Audition to hear it
5. Pull the fader all the way down for track 2 so it doesn't affect the mix itself. Or bus it to a separate bus and mute that bus.
6. EQ track 2 (the duplicate) as needed
Would that work?

Yeah, i thought about that and it sure will work, but i would call rather call it a workaround in this case. Thank you very much for the detailed answer nonetheless. I guess flexible routing will come a bit later to the game.Matt W wrote:If you have the Pro-C compressor, which includes a sidechain input, you could do this currently by duplicating the track in question.
