I am really fed up with RAM limits on the iPad. I had planned to make Auria my only multi-track platform. It's fantastic. But my last project convinced me that would not work.
I had approximately
4 to 6 vocal tracks.
4 guitar tracks.
3 bass tracks
4 synth tracks.
All at 48 kHz
I was constantly getting RAM limit messages.
And freezing tracks and doing preliminary mix downs shouldn't be necessary.
I love Auria. Love everything about it. But the Google Nexus has 4x the RAM my iPad 2 comes with.
And it has 2x the RAM the iPad 3&4 have.
I would love to use Auria on a tablet that has sufficient RAM for my multi-track recording.
As it is, I'll be using my laptop & Sonar a lot more now.
Any Chance of Auria for Android?
Re: Any Chance of Auria for Android?
Android doesn't support pro level audio apps, due to several factors including latency and audio engine performance. When it does, we'll definitely look into it more seriously.

Auria would be like the hot chick at the fat girl camp in the android market! I'm sorry I had to say it.
Re: Any Chance of Auria for Android?
Yes i agree with the BlackBox, it will look ugly as Android does not provide that level for the Auria. You need to carry on with the iPad and the RAM limitation.
