Mixdown adds seconds of silence to file end

Post by sch » Thu May 16, 2013 1:38 pm

I'm finding that Auria is now adding up to 20 seconds of silence at the end of the mixed WAV file. This varies from 14 to 20 seconds (on the last 3 projects I mixed). I am using 'Entire Song' as the Selection Range.

Any ideas? I know I can try setting locators, but this used to work fine.

It should always be 20 seconds exactly. This is done to make sure any reverb tails are finished playing. I'm planning on having this as an option in the mixdown page.

...or wait until the RMS level in the last few blocks is below... -80 dB? :)

So does it add the 20 seconds to a locater-selected range too? I don't need this extra dead space!

Personally, I prefer to have and End-of-Song marker that can be set manually.

It shouldn't, but it's possible that's a bug. I'll have to look. In any case, when I add this option to the mixdown box, I'll make sure.
