Bluetooth on auria

Hi rim can we get Bluetooth on auria thanks

Unfortunately, it's not possible yet. iOS doesn't support bluetooth in apps that play and record audio like Auria. Apps like GarageBand allow bluetooth, but only in a special mode where you can't record. This isn't possible in Auria, because it uses the multiroute audio category, and bluetooth simply sin't supported by the operating system, in this mode. Maybe in a future iOS update, they'll make this possible.

Rim - I'm similarly frustrated by this functionality limitation. Surely Auria can match the output capabilities of Garage Band, Twisted Wave, etc?

The problem goes further. When Auria is open, even in background, it prevents other apps from routing sound out via Bluetooth. This problem is not shared by other recording apps that are capable of output via Bluetooth.

Sadly, my favourite app (that's you that is) appears to be taking my iPad functionality backwards rather than forwards. Do please look into this - it is not an iOS issue if other iOS recording apps don't share the problem.

The Bluetooth thing is kind of over-rated I think. Even if Apple fixes/implements it, the quality and latency will make it nearly useless. Except for playing songs from iTunes of course.
