Article on Workflows Using NanoStudio and Auria
Re: Article on Workflows Using NanoStudio and Auria
If any of you like Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine or any shoegazing band from 90's), Foo Fighters, Raveonettes, you have to read this q & a with Alan Moulder. It was actually because of him that I bought DrumAGog as I dug his drum sounds:

This is awesome. Nano is my main go-to along with Auria, so thank you very much for this!!sch wrote:I just published an article on my website Makin' Music In 2013, that talks about iPad music making and in particular, discusses apps such as NanoStudio, Auria and AudioShare. I talk about using these apps with regard to managing presets and samples, preparation tips and techniques, best practices and workflow examples.
I hope that it has some benefit to readers. I welcome feedback on this article.
Cheers,

Avid Readers...
I'm currently working on Part 2, entitled Anatomy of a Mix. Part 2 will pick up where this previous article leaves off, and is all Auria.
Using a specific track (on my SoundCloud page) as an example, the article looks at the different aspects of the mix, such as subgroups, building a foundation (kick/snare/bass), split processing, sonic placement and movement, space in the mix, and automation.
It may take me a couple of days to finalize it and port it into my website. I'll update the forum when it's available.
In the meantime, if anyone has specific things they'd like covered, please reply to this thread and I'll see what I can do.
Cheers,
