Tried it briefly just opening Auria and loading a project, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary on my iPad 2.

We haven't had any issues here with 6.1 either.

Hello, new here.
Just updated ios 6.1 and auria 1.06 and now every single one of my saved file recordings is gone.
I use an Apogee One that I just purchased and while firing it up for continuation for additions to tracks, not only is there no sound coming through it, all previous sound recordings are gone!!
Playback through Apogee is fine (tested through youtube)
Previously multiple crashes, low CPU, yadda and the usual with Auria, but since updating ios, no sound.

I'll mention that after updating Auria, recorded using internal mic on ipad 2, and everything (sound) was fine.
Updating ios may be the problem???
Is there anything I'm doing wrong or suggestions?

are you sure your recordings are gone? So,open the"import audio"menu and browse through your project folders doesn't show you any of your recordings?

Just opened Auria to check suggestion, and.... creepy, but auria is installing itself again . All I did was press the app and it was already installing. Now I'm really worried, unless rim has hacked me and is fixing it remotely

I'll check the suggestion later as I don't know how to stop this.

yes,it's important to finish this"installation".If you still experiencing problems you could try to delete auria from your ipad (but make backups from your projects via itunes or iFunkbox before) and install it again (directly from the ipad app store not from your itunes or a backup).it can definitely help solving problems.

It's very hard to actually "loose" your projects, unless you delete the app. I suggest you allow the install process to finish, then check it again. Your projects should all still be there. If you deleted Auria, of course, all your projects will be gone unless you backed them up before deleting it.

Seems to play everything after installation, but the funny thing is when I mentioned its creepy, is that I never initiated an install or update after updating to 1.06 back when the upgrade was avail on the 24th. Auria implemented this on its own? I won't question too much because it's working. I'll test Apogee One tomorrow and hopefully receive a sound input.
Thx for all the help and insight, much appreciated.

Auria reinstalling.
Same thing happened to mr this morning. I had upgraded to iOS 6.1 yesterday and ran auira up ok. However this morning when I hit the Auria icon., it started to reinstall took a few minutes with all the help hints showing as it went along. I did panic a bit wondering if all my projects would still be there. It was a long wait while it installed. Luckily all the projects were still there and everything was ok. Worrying though. anybody know what caused this automatic reinstall?

The automatic "reinstall" is a process that Auria does if it detects that any of the default folders are missing. This happens often when you upgrade from one OS version to another. Auria detects this and runs a procedure to reinstall these default folders. It doesn't touch your projects.

In the future, I'll add a message that lets you know it's doing this.
