Ah, yes, thunderbolt and lightening, very, very frightening, Galileo!
Sorry for the bad pun, and, yes, I had confused my connector terminology.
Thanks

Firewire to Thunderbolt?
I've got an old Presounus Firepod that is Firewire only. I recall seeing a Firewire-to-Thunderbolt adaptor listed at Apple, but it didn't have the best reviews. Does anyone have any experience using such an adaptor, or an older Firewire interface with Auria?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: iPad 4: Camera Connection Kit and USB powered hub?
Yes, you'll need a new adaptor, but not one to daisy chain onto your 30-pin camera adaptor. Apple makes a Lightning to USB Camera Adaptor ($29US), with which you'll replace the 30-pin adaptor. In essence, you'll just be swapping out the older Camera Kit for the new Lightning adaptor. They are readil...

Templates?
Any way to save a template in Auria? I mean for starting off, having a template with a certain number of tracks that are already named, have some subs already set up, some aux effects ready to use, metronome ready to go, count-in length already set? Having templates would really speed up my workflow...

Re: Auria's Midi Controllers.
Just posted this in the Faderport thread, but wanted to share my results here also. With a powered USB hub, I was able to run Faderport, an external MIDI keyboard, and my Apogee Jam interface. Audiobus recording was fine, and audio via Apogee Jam had no latency issues. Wow, I am impressed!

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works
Question: Once I have Faderport hooked up, how can I then use an external keyboard? My concern is that if I use the Faderport, I won't have any way to connect other input devices for recording externally into Auria. Will a USB hub allow BOTH the Faderport AND a keyboard to be used together? Otherwis...

No sound with Audiobus - sometimes.
I've been having sporadic troubles with Audiobus, sometimes it works great, other times no sound comes through in Auria. I've tried completely shutting down my ipad 4 and restarting, no luck. One time I switched and opened another song, and it worked there, then switching back to the song I was work...

Re: Audiobus recording issue
Not for me, I can't even respond to the crash report without Aura crashing again! Thought I'd try here, but whatever. I am using 1.08 by the way, not what it says below.

Re: Latency issues yet again, please, help
I've been pulling my hair out for over two weeks trying to record in Auria. I have read the manual several times, and tried every possible combination to record in the Settings section. I came back today to see if I would have any luck. Nope. It's the latency, which I have mentioned before and been...

Re: Latency issues ruin Auria experience
Here are screenshots of my settings. First are the settings for recording synths and other apps on the iPad. Second are the settings when recording via Scarlett 2i2. I really appreciate the suggestion! How about the Record Latency Adjustment setting? I've changed it several times with no noticeable ...

Re: Latency issues ruin Auria experience
Thanks for all the positive and negative responses to my thread! Hopefully, as my initial post mentioned, you all see that I am NOT running a jailbroken iPad. Check my signature to see my setup. I guess I need to clarify a bit more. I record alone, so overdubbing myself is what I do most of the time...

Latency issues ruin Auria experience
I've been continually frustrated with being unable to perform the simplest of recording tasks on Auria. Latency is awful, and I've tried every permutation to try and lessen the latency, whether recording using a USB device, Scarlett 2i2, or Apogee Jam. I simply can't deal with the horrible latency. ...
