Re: ETA on MIDI integration?
Hi, Rim - I am hopeful that Auria will allow the use of IAA instruments to record and playback MIDI...and hopefully VSTi·s made for iOS in the not-too-distant future. I tried using the MIDI Editor in Meteor. The only instruments available are the built-in ones; there is no way to access IAAs unless ...

Re: audiobus mode off by default
Ah, but what happens to the buffer size in Auria when it is launched from within Audiobus 2 with ITS buffer size set at 256? Does AB2's buffer size automatically get bumped up to 512 to match Auria's Audiobus Mode default? I think Auria's Audiobus Mode should include an option to select a default bu...

Re: iPhone 6 Plus support
Actually, there are ways to get around the size limitation, though perhaps not in all cases. But...for instance, tapping and holding a fader can bring up an exploded (i.e., larger) fader. No matter if it blocks most of the screen...as soon as you let go of the exploded fader, it disappears. The same...

Re: turnado in auria midi clock
I realize there will be an extra step involved, but you can do the following: 1. Save your Loopy creation to an audio file; then close Loopy. 2. Open your Auria project, and set its BPM to match what you used in Loopy. 3. Load the saved audio file into Auria; then process it with Turnado (as an IAA)...

Re: Some News about AURIA's MIDI SEQUENCER ???
Although I'm patiently waiting, Rim, I'd like to chime in with a question (dare I say "request?").... Will Auria's MIDI sequencer allow the use of external instruments (via Audiobus2 and IAA)? Other apps provide only built-in, chèésy-sounding instruments for use with MIDI. Basically, I'm a...

Re: Question about snapshots or Settings templates
Save a copy of your project, appending the new name with "_Template" (instead of "_bk"). Then, in this new copy, remove all unneeded regions, etc., resulting in a nice, clean template. Now you can open this Template project whenever you want to start with your saved settings. Be ...

Re: Ipad3G Focusrite6i6 Spdif
The sad irony is that if there were a PC version of Auria, you would experience the same issues as with your current PC DAW because the root cause is Focusrite's inefficient USB drivers on the PC. I have an 8i6; it works gr8 with Auria on my iPad 4 (and iPad 2), but with SAWStudio (a VERY efficient ...

Re: Recording a 2nd track using the same instrument - Audiob
Even easier: After recording the Audiobus instrument for the first time, add a new track and move the region down to this new track (at the same position in the Timeline). Now you are free to record a second pass of the same instrument on the original AB'd track. If you need a third pass, then add a...

Re: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 and Auria for Inear and FOH liv
I've been asking for an iPad version of MixControl - even "stripped down" - that will allow saving to hardware (and saving preset files from hardware)...but I get the same "form letter" response from Focusrite. Unfortunately, Katherine Kaplan appears to have been given the same &...

Re: Stereo track...pan is just a balance knob...?
You can copy the stereo track and paste it to the subsequent track (at the exact point on the timeline); then pan one track hard left and the other hard right. No matter which way you do it, you cannot go any wider than your hard L/R positions (without employing, say, M/S techniques). You can, howev...

Re: FaderPort and NanoKontrol 2: NoGo with iPad 4 (128GB)
ØK...went back to Guitar Center last night. Tried the NanoKontrol 2 again, using ALL of djjuniorpops' eXcellent instructions...and it worked like a chámp! Didn't even have to retry the FaderPort...the NK2 is a perfect fit for my live workflow. @djjuniorpops: I went through NK2's rather slim manual.....

Re: FaderPort and NanoKontrol 2: NoGo with iPad 4 (128GB)
Thanks for the replies, Gúyz! :) I'll be heading back to GC tonight to have another go at it, this time with my powered USB hub. With regard to the NanoKontrol 2, I had forgotten about pressing Set and Play while plugging in the USB (since my NanoKontrol 1 has no Set button, only a Scene button, whi...
