Fab Filter Pro R - is an iOS version coming for Auria

Just stumbled across this video from Fab Filter for Pro R, scheduled for November 15 release. I wonder if there's any sign they may make this available in Auria?

Re: Audio Units in Auria Pro

Will regular Auria not-pro be upgraded to support AU as well, or only Auria Pro?

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"

Just wanted to add an earnest +1 to AU support. I hope this is something that can at least be characterized as coming sooner rather than later? I love working in Auria and have no intentions to switch away, but I must confess, it's a bit discomfiting to see Cubasis out in front of my favorite DAW on...

Re: Active Auria Artists Demos/Masters

I'm curious... what are your favorite mics? Do you all mix to monitors or headphones or both? Good question - especially phones versus monitors, which has proponents at the extreme on both sides! My vocal mic is an old AT4033a that's still in pretty good shape, only been knocked over 5 or 6 times. ...

Sci-Fi Track - Tangerine Dream Tribute

The fifth track of my work-in-progress sci-fi album is also an instrumental tribute to Tangerine Dream. I wrote and recorded this a few days after learning of founder and prime mover Edgar Froese's death early this year. Anyone familiar with "The Keep" soundtrack will know where I got the ...

Re: Fabfilter "A-B" button. what do YOU use it for if at all

Pretty sure it's just like like A/B testing, you can dial in one setting for A, then another for B, and bounce back and forth and decide which one you like. I played with it a few times, might again, but usually I don't bother with it.

I play heavy and Auria is my friend. +1 on Jamup Pro, and if you like to design custom cabs, +1 for Bias, which lets you import your cabs into Jamup. If you want configurable loops, +1 for Rock Drum Machine. Here's a recent demo from TheSoundTestRoom.com: http://www.thesoundtestroom.com/?s=Rock+Drum...

Re: Spectrum analyser

Worth noting, if the forthcoming Pro Q 2 includes their desktop version's "Spectrum Grab" feature, you'll be able to do more than just analyze your audio spectrum. You'll be able to sculpt it!

Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?

Yes, I've talked with Michael about this last week. It's definitely related. Auria doesn't use Core Animation, but the workaround I already have in place uses the same trick he discovered. Great minds thinking alike? Pleased to hear the devs of my two most essential apps, Auria and Audiobus, have a...

Re: Turn down Master Fader - clipping?

leaving the fader at unity (zero db) is good practice. I recommend using the master channel strip eq to adjust the general volume or inserting pro-q on the master channel and changing the output volume. Agreed, I leave the master fader at zero as well, primarily to help me improve gain staging at t...
