Re: Love this thing...
Zenlizard, Hijacking the thread a bit... but can I ask, how are you getting drums into Auria now? I too have been looking for ways to get good sounding drums for my tunes. My understanding is the Drumagog only replaces individual tracks of single drum hits with other samples. At the moment I'm learn...

Re: Midi tracks
I too am using cubasis for the midi, or was. I've got the s@$ts with it at the moment due to it's absolute basic implementation and excruciatingly frustrating editing. I'm not the only one either if you look on their forum at the posts over the last couple of weeks. Anyway, is there any way of givin...

Re: Region's name
Rearranging the tracks would not cause the region names to change, and it's not practical to have Auria rename the regions if you rearrange tracks. So if you rearrange tracks, the names will still stay the same. So let me know how you'd like to see automatic region naming? This is a separate discus...

But what if you then needed to reorder the tracks?Rim wrote:
I will use fusionarts recommendation to add a track number to the start as well.

Unless region renaming is coming in 1.10

Re: Thoughts on highlight tool
And the highlight tool does cut and copy too!!!!
Can I humbly suggest a fly out menu (like the crossfade styles menu) with icons for: Separate, Join, Select, Cut, Copy. That would create a very fast workflow for region editing.

Re: Thoughts on highlight tool
Thanks Chris, that is probably the fastest way. It's just that I noticed that the highlight tool can also be used to 'select' regions without using 'select highlight regions' in the menu, and the join command still works. Which is what got me to thinking about adding the extra icon to the highlight ...

Thoughts on highlight tool
I just noticed while playing with this tool that it can also be used to join regions. I don't know if this was the intended behaviour but it's a time saving feature. The only prob is if you accidently select a region on an adjacent track that region seems to disappear. Also the regions don't need to...

Re: Markers and rename file
Yes, sorry, the fast forward/rewind buttons, I just called them arrow, less typing. If DT = double tap At the moment: DT on stop goes to locator start (if there is one). Second DT ... Goes to song start. DT on rewind goes to song start (as does second DT of stop) I just thought that since going to s...

Re: Markers and rename file
I was aware of the double tap on rewind but now this is duplicated by the second double tap on stop. Since returning to start is taken care of by either one or two double taps on stop I thought the arrows could be put to use by moving between markers.

I think white for a muted region is a good idea. They're clearly out of the picture then

Re: Markers and rename file
Hi donrato, I remember your previous post. If you mean what I think you mean you can insert markers on the fly now. Just using the menu as normal. At least I think you can, I'll check. Yes, I just did it. Also, now that we have second double tap on stop button going to start could we not have double...
