Scarlett 8i6 and SPDif
I think this question might be for Katherine at Focusrite, so if you're out there, here's my question... I recently purchased the 8i6 and really love it for recording live tracks into Auria. As I understand it I am limited to the four analog inputs for discrete channels into Auria, but I'm wondering...

Re: Recorded w/Auria/DM1/Magellan. Mixed in PTools
Thanks Lion_Drome! I look forward to hearing more! I will be posting some of my creations in the near future, still working on the final touches (in Final Touch, of course)... as a former recording engineer and producer, I took it as a challenge to see if you really could produce a project entirely ...

Re: Recorded w/Auria/DM1/Magellan. Mixed in PTools
The recording sounds great, but if you don't mind my asking, why did you decide not to mix it in Auria?
I ask because I am currently working on a project where I'm doing everything on the iPad (so far, anyway...) and I have found mixing on Auria to remarkably effective....
Thanks!

Re: Motorcycle accident
Anthony,
I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you recover quickly and get back to doing what you love doing!
...and stay off the motorcycles! We've lost too many friends to those things....
Cheers!

Re: FaderPort No Longer recognizes volume states
That reminds me of the time I spent an hour trying to track down what I thought was a programming issue, with the client in the room no less, and it turned out to be a lose MIDI cable....Akkk!

Re: Aux Pre and Post Fader
Thanks Rim! What happens for me is what you illustrated as "Pre Fader" whether I have it Pre or Post Fader...
Now, that said, I should point out I am doing this with a Sub channel. Does that make a difference?

Re: Aux Pre and Post Fader
From what I could tell by playing with it, changing the selection of Aux pre or Post Fader made no difference to anything. From the manual and the desciription within the app, it would appear that this should change the assignment of the Aux to either Pre or Post fader, just like on any mixing desk,...

Aux Pre and Post Fader
This may be something I'm missing, but I can't seem to get the Aux sends to act Post Fader. I am using them on two different Sub channels that both need to be faded in, but the even with those Sub faders all the way off, the sound still comes through Auxes at the Master. I've tried setting the Auxes...

Re: Reverb and panning!?
You can also use an Aux instead of the Insert. The other thing you can do is combine any hard panned tracks (such as vocals) panned hard left or right on a Sub and then insert effects there and that will give you stereo effects...

Punch ins and regions
I may be missing something, but I'm hoping someone can help me... I tend to do a lot of punch ins on vocal tracks and what I end up with is a vocal track with lots of overlapping regions. The track sounds fine, but many times I will duplicate the track to "stereoize" it and I'm finding its...

Re: Recommendation for a sequencing app to sync with Auria
