Re: Fabfilter 25% sale! How long for I don't know...

I see that this is the last day of the sale. Does this affect the price of Fabfilters at the Auria store? Will they go in price tomorrow?

Drumperfect sync off by one beat.

This is driving me a little nuts. I just got Drumperfect Pro and everything is working exactly as it should except that Drumperfect Pro sync is exactly one beat off (late)! There has to be some simple thing that I'm missing! Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Bonus content link

Ok, I did a "restore all purchases", and at the end of a long period of re downloading everything, the "bonus.zip" file was finally installed properly.

Re: Bonus content link

Ok, I followed the directions in the email to the letter. I signed up, received the link, copied the "bonus.zip" file into the Auria documents folder, quit Auria, restarted Auria, and went back to Auria to try out the new content. No luck. I now have a bonus.zip file in the Auria documents...

Re: Can you recommend a Midi keyboard

The Behringer UMX610 has a nice action and runs on batteries, so you can connect it to an iPad with just the CCK and a USB cable. Many other keyboards will need a power supply or powered hub.

I have the four octave UMX490 version which is no longer available.

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread

I just want to mention that since the last update, the TC Helicon Voicelive Play series works really well with Auria. Before the update, Auria would rerecord any tracks monitored with headphones along with any new audio. This was pretty frustrating, but you could get around it by monitoring already ...

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?

You are right. My mistake. The USB Pre 2 does work with an iPad so long as you use a powered hub.

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?

A couple of points here: The Roland Duo EX sounds really clean. I don't hear any more noise from it than I would expect from any decent quality interface. Auria does let you record from a USB interface and monitor from the iPad headphone jack. Just use the MultiRoute driver option. An iPad can't use...

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?

Those two specs are measure different ways and aren't directly comparable. Here's what you need to know: The Sound Devices Mix Pre is a location audio mixer which has USB audio as an added feature. The primary use of this device is for capturing location sound (mostly dialog, but also foley and loca...

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?

I got the Roland Duo EX a few days ago and it really works well. Latency is low enough that I don't need to use direct monitoring and I love that it runs on batteries. One thing that I found that pleasantly surprised me is that I can power it from a 1 spot power supply. These are cheap, really rugge...

Re: Bonus content link

As wrong as it seemed, I followed the directions and just copied the zip folder into the root directory, taking note of the original size of the IR directory. Nothing seemed to happen. I quit and restarted Auria. Still nothing. I went into the Auria store and "restored my purchases". I'm n...

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?

I just ordered a Roland Duo Ex. I've been looking at all the different options and this seemed like the best fit. I wanted something that would run on without AC power, could do phantom power for my Shure SM87, could record guitar and vocals at once, and was relatively solid and inexpensive.
